Gem takes his job very seriously — though his primary threat assessment target is anyone attempting to pet him. He patrols the perimeter with great authority and has never once found anything suspicious, which he considers a personal victory.
Sloane watches over the whole flock with calm, steady eyes — right up until someone offers a scratch, at which point she abandons her post immediately. She has no shame about this and will look you right in the eye while it happens.
